MR. KOFO AKINGBOLA – Managing Director / CEO
Mr. Akingbola started his broking career with Femi Johnson & Co., Ibadan in 1976. He had variously worked with SCIB Nigeria & Company, Resourceful Insurance Consultants and Eagle Insurance Brokers (Formerly John Holt Insurance Brokers) where he left as General Manager to start Lagoon Insurance Brokers in 1995. He is by election a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, Senior member of The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers and he is a holder of Bachelor of Law degree (LLB) from the University of Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar on the 7th of November, 2007 as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
MR. BEN AJEIGBE
Mr. Ben Ajeigbe is a graduate of Insurance from the University of Lagos. He started his career with Royal Exchange Assurance and worked with Femi Johnson and Koguna Babura before joining Lagoon Insurance Brokers in 1995 as Executive Director in charge of Northern Operations.
MR. JAMES OGBIJOKO – (Executive)
Mr. Ogbijoko is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. He had variously worked with Fire Equity & General Insurance Co. Ltd. and Eagle Insurance Brokers Ltd, where he left to join LAGOON INSURANCE BROKERS LTD in 1997 as a deputy Manager. He has attended various Insurance Training, Seminars and workshops in Nigeria for the past 18 years in active practice. An active member of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (Lagos Area Committee) till date.
MR. GODFFREY UWAEKWE
Mr. Uwaekwe is a holder of Higher National Diploma (Insurance) from Lagos State Polytechnic. He has spent about 26 years working with various broking organisations, including Insurance Brokers of Nigeria and H. Clarkson Edu & Partners. He is currently in charge of our Eastern/North Western Operations.
MR. FADAKINNI ABIODUN
Mr. Fadakinni heads our Akure Branch Office and he is a holder of BSc – Insurance
MR. FEMI ADEWALE
Mr. Adewale qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003. He heads our accounts department.
MRS AUGUSTA .O. OMEOGA – Executive Director
Mrs Omeoga is the Executive Director (Technical). She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and a graduate of Business Administration from Lagos State University. She is a member of Offices Representative Committee of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and Professional Insurance Ladies Association (PILA).
She has garnered very useful experience since the start of her insurance career over 15 years ago with Eagle Insurance Brokers Ltd. She later joined Commercial Marine Insurance Brokers Ltd as a pioneer staff in 1995 where she rose to the position of Gen. Manager/CEO and in 2007 joined Equity Providers Insurance Brokers Ltd as Gen. Manager/CEO.
She has attended several management seminars and conferences. She is happily married.
