Lagoon was established in 1995 and is duly registered as an Insurance Broker under the Insurance Decree of 1997.
Also in compliance with the Provisions of the Insurance Decree of 1997, the company has been duly registered as a limited liability company and licensed to transact business as Insurance Brokers by the Commissioner for Insurance. The current authorised paid-up capitals of the company are N10,000,000.00 and N5,000,000.00 respectively.
Lagoon does more than the ordinary Insurance Broker. In its additional role as Risk Management Consultants, it assists business concerns to identify, analyze, assess, reduce and where possible, to eliminate the hazards associated with such businesses and advise on areas where risks can be improved upon before seeking transfer of the residual risks to dependable insurers. This is possible because Lagoon’s team of experts possesses the ability to define risks accurately and comprehensively as well as the technical skill is needed to obtain the best insurance contract at the most favourable terms.
